Concept: We wanted to play off of the subtitle, "Notes Towards the Definition of Tragedy" and came to see this as the absurd modern Greek tragedy that it really is. In reflecting that idea, I wanted to pull some classic Greek imagery but combine it with very modern decor. The platforms I saw as almost altar like and the columns with the broken walls that tragic, destroyed feel.
